China is a place full of attractions, but many of the sites scheduled for travel agencies usually are packed with tourist. Here are some inconspicuous places, but very charming:
Town of Fenghuang (in Hunan province): A place of great architecture and home to fascinating cultures such as the Miao and Tujia minorities. All this on a beautiful landscape of mountains and rivers.
Daocheng (Sichuan Province): The strong presence of Tibetan culture is enriched by its many meadows, waterfalls, dense forests and snow capped mountains.
Immortal Bridge (Shangdong Province): A little-known natural attraction, but amazing. It consists of several rocks that have formed a bridge on Mount Tai. It has a great religious and cultural significance among the inhabitants of the area.
Wuzhen (Zhejiang province): It is called “the Venice of China”. This ancient town is linked by rivers and streams stone bridges and dotted with old houses on the banks with exterior corridors. The place becomes more magical with the fog that surrounds during the rainy season.
Sanya (Hainan Province): Sun, beaches, coconut trees, luxury hotels, and make peace an option Sanya important holiday for Chinese newlyweds, but away from the main tourist circuits.
Lijang Town (Yunnan Province): In Lijang time passes slowly and gently. One can join the matriarchal Mosuo people in their fascinating traditions in beautiful Lugu Lake, a pilgrimage to the feet of the mysterious Jade Dragon Mountain.
